Leaving the past

Silent Whispers pass by my mind
I take my own hand go somewhere and hide
Take deep breaths
Lungs working; ribs rising to tummy then breasts
One foot in front of the other that's all i have to do
look at something still..anything but you
yet i can feel your eyes bore into my skull
leaving my body feeling empty and dull
blur the images of you from my mind
because i'm leaving the past now and not looking behind
starting a new chapter without your name on every page
living my life freely with out your anger and rage.
