"I must have a prodigious quantity of mind; it takes me as much as a week sometimes to make it up."
Mark Twain

"An empty stomach is not a good political adviser."
Albert Einstein

This one’s for you
To all that may be more than they seem
You efforts in this world are not forgotten
You’ve become more in you lifetimes
And still have more to go
To the outcast, you're not the bad one; they are, for feeling they have the right to alienate you
To the rebel, may your fight against "the man" be just, and if it is give em hell!
To the lost and lonely one, you will be found
To the intellectual nobody, you mind is a gift that the world should be humbled by
To the misunderstood archetype, you will find a way to dispel the label
To all aforementioned, we hold a single truth at heart
That the masses hold us down, and fill our hearts and lungs and minds with what they want
Pity them, for they have yet to accept their unconformity
Let us lift the burden off our shoulders
And stand strait and tall
We are strange, weird, and awkward
Loud, soft, and outrageous
But most of all, we’ve freed ourselves from that stereotype of normal
That mental prison of conformity
And stepped out onto a bigger brighter stage
The rest of society will enter that stage soon enough
Until then we wait...
We are
And always will be
Perfectly imperfect.

The author's comments:
I thought about the alienation and discrimination of people who are truly good, by those who deny their own need to be different. It is that hypocrisy that i based this poem on.

Hope you like it:)
