A walk with revenge

He took me to a town where everything was dismay
He offered a helping hand as I tried to find words to say
He showed me all the past and hasty, reckless fights
He took my arm with care as the day turned into night
He guided me through the patch of deception and heavy lies
He covered my ears for a while as the people continued to cry
He led me to the center of town where eyes took on truth
He followed behind and stabbed my back and left me for my doom.
