Twas the night before christmas
T’was the night before Christmas
 And all through the city
 Not one snowflake dropped
What a shame! What a pity!
 The stockings were hung
 And the tree was up
 But without snow
 It just wasn’t enough
 Children were sprawled
 Out in their beds
 With visions of palm trees
 Dancing in their heads
 Waiting for Santa
 To come and visit
 In his swim trunks
Carrying a bag with toys in it
 When they awoke
 To all of their gifts
 They still found
 No snow drifts
 And in their stockings
 They all found
 Many different kinds of floaties
 Pink, blue, square, and round!
