Tears & Pain

Tears run down my cheek.
A smile crests across your face.
You act as if nothing happened,
As my heart begins to fade.
It kills me to see you so happy,
Just sitting there.
With a pain in my chest,
I just lay here.
I think of the day,
when all this pain goes away.
I take one breath at a time,
trying to get through this pain.
As I stare out into the world,
and my tears run down the window pane.
May hear starts beating,
a strong pain in my chest.
as if im dying,
and can not rest.
All I ask,
is when will this pain end.
