Calamity's Plague
It’s in a creeper’s land of thickets that he belongs
loving from the gap where his heart took leave of him,
caring only for the unnatural acts of murder and thievery
plaguing society at his own hand.
It’s a hand bonded to a body
with ravenous eyes the window to a troubled soul
the panes incarnates of bloodlust and vengeance
releasing stabbing tears like hail
and in his own weeping puddle
he drowns.
