Lost Emotions

I don’t know what I feel
I can’t explain this feeling
Emptiness surrounds me
Is there an underlying meaning?
I cannot take this pain,
I don’t know why it’s here
Do you even understand?
The words the have no meaning
I feel a fear inside
The darkness closes in
The light then says goodbye.
Maybe this is life,
Where nothing makes much sense.
Nothing has a point,
My emotions take control.
I don’t mean to bring you down.
I hope I am worth the distress,
I am sorry I am a mess.
