Your voice I miss
I crave your kiss
Your touch I sense
Our bodies so tense
The darkness of night engulfs our love
The flapping wings of a lost dove
Sound so near yet far away
There must be more we need to say
Don't go don't leave me here
Help me to face my worst fear
Promise me always you'll love me dear
For the light of day is not so near

This poem is beautiful, I love the writing style. I also enjoy how abstract the idea is which makes it so many people from many different situations can enjoy and relate.

Thank you :) and my inspiration was my self when my ex had to go away for a long time and I knew that once he left life would never be the same again
