A Beach.
And from our mothers we crawl,
unto the warm, soft sand,
Impulse telling us to stay and wait,
not wanting to experience,
the vastness before us,
But with reason irking, we stand on our legs, trudging forward,
faster and faster,
Until we wade in,
And the dark and murky waters
below us,
Consume us.
