That Precious Gem Called You
I want to hold you in my arms,
And never let go.
I want to feel your lips pressed against mine,
And tell you I love you.
You are so alluring that,
I always mistake you for a angel.
Or maybe it’s not a mistake,
And maybe you really are.
You are the most beautiful girl in the world,
Or at least in my eyes.
I am pretty sure I will love you forever,
Or at least until the day I die.
Angels have wings,
And so do you.
I know this because the day you stole my heart,
I saw you take it to unreachable heights.
Angels are the closest thing to perfect,
And so are you.
I love everything thing about you,
From your head to your toes.
Everytime I talk to you my heart jumps,
I think I am in love.
I don’t want this feeling to ever go away,
Or at least for now.
Words alone could never tell you how much I love you.
There are one million and one things I love about you,
And 50 different ways to tell you you’re beautiful
But only one real way for me to tell you “I love you”
