Failed Attempts
I tried to be an artist,
to draw the world I see,
But to my dismay I found,
 I failed so miserably.
 I attempted to master music,
my heart to fly with song,
But this too, I soon saw,
 my efforts did go wrong.
Then I thought, I think I'll plant, so flowers were my next attempt,
But soon they wilted and turned brown,
so another fault of mine was found.
A camera is a simple thing!
 Why I could try photography!
But though the cameras were right at hand,
another whim of mine went bland.
So I turned to a journal to write my thoughts,
 But I was inconsistant,
 a battle lost.
So a rhyme I sit here and compose,
For I have no talent, this I know.
