what i truly come from

I come from hard work
I come from the marines
I come from diehard swim teams
I come from blood sweat and tears
I come from a place where you show no fear
I come from all play and no work
I come from a place where triumph lurks
I come from skating and creative making
I come from a rich history and exciting mystery
I come from the best and let this be my test
That I come from us.

Congratulations on your first poem to be accepted online! One of my favorite lines in your poem is: "I come from a place where triumph lurks." Putting those last two works together is surprising and effective. Keep on writing! I look forward to reading more!
