Spirit
I see you in the trees
swaying outside my window,
And in the seet roses
that bloom in my yard.
I hear your whisper
in the passing winds that
caress my warm cheek,
And your gentle laugh
in the babbling brook
that winds its way
through the woods.
Why did you leave me
with your ghost?
I loved you
with all my heart,
and all my soul.
Wasn't it enough for you?
No matter, I will move on.
Just as the flowers
bloom each spring,
I will live on,
Blossoming into
a better person
than I am now.
And maybe one day,
you will too.
