On This Cold Tuesday
January 17, 2012
I went into the city today
With friends.
It was cold and little flurries of snow chilled us.
We went to the art museum
Today, with friends.
And we puzzled over the images of deep space.
There is no light in deep space today
Or any other day.
And so all the pictures look alike (black).
Out in deep space there are no museums
Or friends
Or anything else to photograph.
There is a vacuum in deep space says science
No friends
So someone filled it up with their ego.
I went into the city today
With friends.
It was cold but we smiled walking home.
