Catch me
Oh gentlest wind that bends my bough
Is stronger than the mightiest foul
As it bears upon me all the spots
I’ve come to defend against such lots
But the gentlest wind that breaks my being
Enters through places all tremendously
I darest notice it do its job
By gasp or loft I cannot sob
A smile it spreads cheek to eyes
Truly there without blatant or clandestine disguise
Yes it’s true that otherwise I would fail
To be so happy from a vapor trail
Of pushing obscurity down past my throat
Overbearing conundrums so happiness can float
Betwixt love and care I ponder
What cam’st at the ringing astound her
It breaks at my will to stand
I am caught by the gentlest wind before I land
