O LORD! I plea to you,
give me power,
so that I can remind the ‘leaders’,
their duty towards our country.

o lord! Give me power,
So that I can do something for the needy,
Not for my benefit
But for my own satisfaction.

O lord! Give me power,
To help the poor children,
Not to hear my praises,
But to see their smiling faces.

O lord! Give me power
So that I can remind the oath taken by the ‘faithfuls’
who have sold their honor
for some costly papers.

O lord give me power,
To fight against the injustice,
For the people
Who are tired and are mum fighting for their rights.

O lord! if you are there,
Listen to my plea,
Give my words the power,
So that I can once again unite my own people………
