The Girl
Will you smile for me once,
 and smile for me twice?
 Even though you're blushing
I still want to see your light.
 Behind the darkened blanket
 loosely clenched fists do rise
and cover half your glowing face.
 Strands of hair follow through
with your intent to simply hide,
They slyly cover up your eyes,
allowing more time to pass us by.
Still, I only see a smiling girl
and how she smiles for me.
