How'd we get here?
This past year's been a long one.
Never wanted to go,
But babe we both know
I'm the wrong one.
When you said
"Don't go away, what about all our plans?"
I wanted to stay but I can't.
I'll be leaving Kansas and taking on the world.
While you stick to the same old patterns,
And date some plain old girl
I hope she fits the puzzle you've been making
In your head
But I'm not her.
