a school of ideas.
I cast,
but the ideas
aren’t hungry.
Nothing bites.
No ideas are caught.
This boat,
this river,
this lake- whatever this is…
This is my mind.
and I am here,
searching,
fishing,
scavenging
For ideas.
So, please, tell me-
Where is a good spot?
A spot where all the ideas bite?
The spot that all good writers find?
Please… please
tell me.
Tell me,
so I can write.
So I can discover
My talents,
So I can become rich
and famous.
Tell me, so I can
do this assignment-
Where is that spot?
