there has to be more to life
than this endless city
and all these two-faced, fake people
with their lying smiles and greedy hearts
there has to be somewhere
where everybody knows everybody
and there are no secrets
and people look out for one another
and the boy you marry is the one you grew up
and grudges don't last more than a day
and wars and problems of the rest of the world don't reach you
and life is just so simple
