the silver moon
acts as though it is on a string
but is it
when it hangs in the sky?
just like the sun in the middle of the day,
a bright yellow circle
acting as though it is held on a string
but that string
would have to be a strong string
that string
is known to us as gravity

Thanks. I'll think of a better end, as it is a bit abrupt and it does feel unfinished. Thanks. :)

wicked! i liked the metophors but it kinda felt unfinished in the sence that it didnt have a clean end, but it was still wickedly great!!

Laugh, and the world laughs with you;<br /> Weep, and you weep alone.<br /> For the sad old earth must borrow it&#039;s mirth,<br /> But has trouble enough of its own.

Interesting. I liked how you used a metaphor for something so basic that we're all taught. Now every time I see the moon I will think of that haha. Really well written, and I liked the repetitve part of "acting" as if it was on a string. Nice job :)
