I wish I could
Burn you out
of my mind.
Just like the pictures and notes
of and about you,
Turning into ashes.
I’m sick and tired
of the memories
Haunting me,
Sneaking up
Unexpectedly,
Invading my mind,
Taking over
Until you’re all I can think about.
