Lost Along the Way

I'm not sure
If I know myself anymore
I've been pulled this direction
And then another
But what really gets me
Is how I was able to leave myself
Behind along the way
Will I be able to find my face
Pushed against an invisible mirror
Hiding from what I've become
And tears streaming down my cheeks
From the loss of everything I used to be?
I hope there's something to break the barrier
Between my old life and my
Tainted new one
