sHE beLIEveD
She Believed
She believed it was working,
Even through the pain.
He lied to her.
He said she was worthless.
She knew they would get married.
Even though… he was a fighter.
He slapped. Kicked. Punched.
He was a psycho, crazy.. drunk.
She thought it was normal.
Bruises mentally and physically showing.
Everyday-
Every hour, she had to fight to live.
Every second of every minute,
She was hurt by his words-
“You are a worthless, pointless, stupid girl you don’t deserve to live here!”
I guess
His heartbeat
Was more important?
