Your Words
the lens is a friend,
 the lens is an enemy.
Can't put a frame on a thing like this.
 but we did,
and I recall it later with the type of fondness
that you had for me when you helped me up
the stairs we both knew I could climb.
they reduced us to a still frame.
to "how sweet. how fond those memories."
i don't remember the moment but I remember
 every
 little
 shape
your mouth made when you said
 secret nothings.
those who say a picture's worth a thousand words,
have yet to hear you speak.
