Killing Innocence
Killing Innocence
Killed someone once,
Her name was innocence.
It was a hot steamy day.
There was no one around.
White smoke arose,
From the ground.
Innocence struggled the whole way;
Coughing and wheezing from the pain.
It was dry.
Had and itchy throat.
The sun did shine…
As I left a note.
She got in my way. She hindered me.
I didn’t need her; simple as that.
Happy it’s done.
The mind is numb.
I’m having fun.
My eyes are dumb.
The day is done.
Innocence is dead.
The day is done.
I don’t care.
