A sapling it springs
From betwixt two alike
Their thoughts like strings
Connecting the stars and night

The tree it grows
Revealing a world of thought
Blue water flows
Cradling green blades as a cot

Pearls instead of leaves
Beauty to be found
Emotions and fate interweaves
Glorious lights of gold abound

Sparkling roses spring up
Covering in pools
Flourishing yet drowning in the cerebral cup
The two minds be fools

A burning touch brings the growth
Of pearls and oceans at their feet
Scorning what feelings cometh
How horror and loss meet

The willow withers
Taking away curtains of lusterful white
The vine of denial slithers
Covering the looking glass from sight

Their fault cannot be undone
Losing all trace of what had begun

But a sapling it will spring
From betwixt two alike
How they nurture it may sting
Losing their chances in psyche
