A Mother's Love
Sometimes it seems as though I don’t care
As much as I probably should
But what you do not know
Is that I would show it if I could
 Not a day goes by
 That I don’t recall
 All of our memories
 The good times and all
I know that I’m not perfect
 But I can’t say I don’t try
 Just to know you’re proud
When I look you in the eye
I only wish I could express
 My truest love for you
 But I go on hoping
That the little things will do
 Because it is almost impossible
 To show something so strong
But I will continue to attempt
 No matter for how long
You are not only a daughter’s mother
 But her very best friend
 And even if we fight
I will love you till the end
