I Love,,,
I love the way your lips and mine
Are intertwined;
The way our bodies move in unison
With the wind and tree branches;
The way my heart sinks like an anchor
In the midst of the ocean;
It doesn’t waver or sway with the current;
I love the way my feet dance around yours
As you watch, mesmerized by my grace;
I adore the way your hand clings to mine
Like glue on a fifth grader’s hand,
Unwanted, but ironically, always loved.
I love the future with you,
Uncertain and scary as he**,
But reassuring with love;
I love how our bodies move around each others’
Like a sketchy cartoon,
But what I love the most is,
How much you love this too.
