The Master of Illusion
Sweet dreams are roofed in lies
What fool would close their eyes?
All they want is to be loved by you
Illusions in nebulous dark blue
They only want physical bondage
Run away from emotional damage
The Master will someday meet the eyes
Not only in the heart, but in the mind
And they'll follow
Wrap you with their sorrows
Your every step leaves prints on misery
I may be mistaken, but you've lost your way
Sweet dreams are shining to distract you
Blinding your way to disappoint you
All I wanted was to be loved by you
But I sank into the dark blue
The Master has blessed and twisted ways
I may be mistaken, but you became the prey
The Master is the magician of false trickery
And still, no one can play the cards right
Sweet dreams become living nightmares
Who can blame the cowards for being scared?
All she wanted was to be loved by you
But you let her fall into the dark blue
These victims have become puppets on a tearing string
Trapped in a melancholy, you can hear them ripping
And that is the conclusion
Of the Master of Illusion.
