Mighty War who conquers all
Great Ares who never falls
‘Fore chariots fast
He always lasts.
‘Fore age, ‘fore ail
He will not fail.
Swords and arrows
And guns and planes,
Heart of a sparrow
He never feigns.
But in the end love conquers all;
‘Fore Aphrodite fair he gladly falls.
