Gobble Life Up
An unhinged amazement,
A secretless smile,
A sweet little life,
For a sweet little while.
Unbridled spirit,
a wide open mind,
Able to believe,
in all the magic she finds.
With a beautiful grin,
ready to gobble life up,
totally unaware,
of a world so corrupt.
I want to tell her,
to never grow older,
right now it's warm,
but it only grows colder.
One day she might,
see the world as I see,
but right now she's happy and innocent,
I hope she always will be.
