My heart is set to burst
I provided the circumstances for it do so
I closed myself off in the bathroom,
I turned up the water so it ran and it ran
I sat huddled up in the position my mother taught me
I counted the seconds for the explosion to happen
It started creeping, my breath hitching,
My vision giving way to dizzy hallucinations
My heart Is set to burst
The timer is too far away for me to reach
When it is too late,
I’ll wait for someone to realize I’m gone.
