My Best Friend
My best friend is the sun. Some days, she's bright enough to light up even the darkest of shadows. Others, she's dull and hides herself from the world. To her, it doesn't matter what color you are, what religion you practice, what mistakes you've made, she'll give you warmth and happiness. Sometimes, when it rains, she keeps on shining away. During a thunderstorm though, she's nowhere to be seen. The world is dark and cold, but she comes back. She always does. She comes back in yellow and gold and orange and purple and blue and pink. She comes back shining. She comes back and brings hope and light with her and spreads it to every corner of the world.
