saving her
I found an island in the sea
 The water all around
 Frothy and shark infested
 Rapids all around
 trying to keep me back

I get closer I see a beautiful girl
 She looks amazing
 she looks scared
 I brave the water
 Stepping out of my canoe
 Into the rapids
 My foot hits the water
 The water instantly calms
I walk though the water easily
 Sharks sense me
 But stay away

 I fought the rapids
 and braved the water
 For her

 I step on the island
 Its shrinking
 Getting smaller
 I’m their for her
I take her off the shrinking island
 Carry her away
 From the pain
 From the reminders
 I help
 Take her back to friends

 She smiles as thanks
 I walk away
 But I walk my days
 Thinking of her
 and helping others
