The truth is here,
It lies inside me.
I hide it deep
Under the sea
Of feelings longing
To be free.
The truth is starved,
It gnaws at me.
I fend it off;
It cannot breech
The feelings longing
To be free.
The truth is torturing,
It comes for me.
I cower away
And try to flee
The feelings longing
To be free.
The truth is strong,
Wrong it proves me.
I close my eyes
And will not heed
The feelings longing
To be free.
The truth is true,
It stands above me.
I cannot run
But I won't see
The feelings longing
To be free.
