Conflict...and my pink flag
A knot, a heavy one in my heart

   my lungs

   my feet
 can’t breathe nor walk
when was the last time I relaxed
my shoulders dropped, my brows rested
from their tense desire to search and find
 an answer…solution
 for the conflict I carry
 on top of me
 surrounding me
 inside of me

pushing through my skin…inside n out
 no way to escape
it takes a journey through my veins and meets more of its kind along the way
they form a group, mutate, rebel, revolt
 EVOLUTIONIZE
Now an army _yet to be
 Overwhelming complexity
Storms and conquers the simple me
Tell me! Oh where is the mercy?
 There is none.
I question was there ever one?!
 I raise it
I raise it way up high-for my reflection to see
White flag (translucent from my tears and red from my blood)
Pink flag – way too pretty for its purpose
