at night
I write to the stars
and I tell them
I tell them how I feel
and what I see
and I look at the sky
and they answer me
they answer me
with beauty
beauty wild and free
at night
I talk to the stars
and they talk to me
they tell me about beauty
a beauty so wild and free
they teach me about time and infinity
they teach me about focus and stillness
and how to just be
they teach me about patience and presence
and about silent glee
at night
I write to the stars
and I am happy
