My dreams have a right to know
 Why, for centuries have they been breaking.
 My wishes have a right to know
 Why, haven’t they been heard, even once.
 My heart has a right to know
 Why, can’t it be loved just like it loves.
 My fingers have the right to know
 Why, haven’t they felt the warmth of a hand for so long.
 My feet have the right to know
 Why, nobody has stood by them all along.
 My eyes have a right to know
 Why, can’t they stare into someone else’s 
 and feel the love for them there.
 My soul has a right to know
 Why, has it been drifting so aimlessly in the world.
 I have the right to know
 Why have I been all alone for so long
 Yes, I have the right to know.
