Deja-vu
It’s deja-vu, but all written in code
In the blood that now flows freely, no tourniquets could hold
Coming from wounds deep under my skin,
It looks like your shrapnel tore me apart from within
Once more with feeling, this time bomb set to blow
Too many regrets to have it slow
Everything left yet I do watch it tick
and you fade from memory to nothing more than a blip,
That tiny dot on the radar, yet I have lock,
it’s missiles away, and no time on the clock
