Misunderstood
I am loud when I should be quiet-I mumble when the world is questioning me- I hide when expectations build -I jump out in times of high tension- I am asked what I think and say 'nothing' then am critiqued for my lack of interest-I speak my mind without being asked and disappoint others with my outlook- I have ideas that do not match my potential- I have dreams that are not logical in this society of pessimists- I have words that would scare the common man- I see things in ways I must keep to my self due to fear of being misunderstood- but then- I am misunderstood- and I suppose that is the unseen beauty of myself- a beauty which must be contained- for no one can grasp the concept of true beauty yet- but I can- and I see the beauty in you as well.
