A mask hides my pain
Covers all my shame
Disguises my hate
Ignores all the rates
Underneath there is me
That cries for the pain
That blushes from the shame
That lets free my hate
A mask says I'm happy
A mask says I'm pretty
A mask makes a Me
That's a rough sketch of
me
Underneath I take pills
Wear make-up galore
Cry late at night
And obsess over scars
My Mask is who you see
I dare you
-I want you-
To Yank it OFF
