Catching Snowflakes
Her soft, blue eyes
 widen with awe
 as she marvels at
 the beauty of the falling
 miracle.

 She streches out
 her tiny hand
 to catch the flakes
 of wonder.

 She watches as the
 divine beauty of
 the thin crystals
 fall and melt on her
 warm skin.

 She sticks out
 her tiny tongue
 to experiment and
 taste the delicate
 beauty.

 One of the
 crystals cling to
 her eyelashes, but she
 doestn't care.

 This is her
 first snow and she
 wants it to cling
 to her.

 The amazing
 wonders of life we

     look over, touches
 the heart of a
 small child.
