Keeping time to my broken heart beats

Pointless to my beaten body
Scared to breath in this cold toxic air

Poison to my small hollow lungs
Remembering what all we had

Painful to my wide fragile mind
Holding onto the memories now

Perfect in my open reaching arms
Knowing there is no escape from it

Praying in my own little world
