Favorite Quote:
Wherever you go, go with all your heart.

A silent air takes place
The audience waits
Prepared to hear

This is the place
That stays
Yet goes

Sings its own song
Speaks
Its own language

Music so familiar
The sound slips through
The pebbles

Eats away at the dark world
Slowly dwindling
Then.....

Inspiration comes in the music
The melody surges forward
The deep rumble of the harmony

The orchestra has found its rhythm
The notes become faster

Larger

Taller

Walk into the symphony
Slip beneath the sound
The orchestra has not yet taken a bow

Music still rings in my ears
Beneath the surface
Underneath
the harmony
and
the melody

You and I
Can still hear
Music

This is the symphony of the ocean
Can you still hear?

The author's comments:
I was inspired to write this piece after visiting the beach. I view the ocean as a special kind of song that never changes. Something everything can enjoy. I'm not sure if everyone will enjoy this poem, but I hope everyone can get something out of it.
