Those Lips
Those lips
Like whipped cream on strawberry shortcake
I just want a taste
And the world will be at peace
And the birds will sing
And the ugly cats will purr
I crave
The feel
Of those lips
Embracing mine
Like a rainbow after rain
All will be dandy and fine
That’s the way it should be
Our lips entwined
Like a leaf on a tree
Or a thorn on a vine
Our lips forever entwined
I want that kiss so bad
It hurts
Like when an eye doesn't twinkle
Or the grass is yellow
The lack of kiss
Is breaking nature
Stepping on clouds
Or walking on eggshells
Please let me kiss
Those lips.

One day you are seventeen and planning for someday. And then quietly, without you ever really noticing, someday is today. And that someday is yesterday. And this is your life. - Nathan Scott (OTH)
