Big Blue Sea
Its strength is wrapped in blue and trimmed in white
It reaches and takes what is in its path
So strong it whips away my footpath
It reflects my face in its glass surface
And holds my secrets in its darkest parts
Its surface and depths still remain ageless
As the day ends we are forced to depart
But its bottoms are full with sunken ships
It kills many with its cruel grasp
It covers its doings like an eclipse
Many have disappeared in its dead clasp
And yet we always find that what is cruel
We unconscionably love like an angel
