That one special thing
All alone in his room,
He sits and weeps.
Trying to decide whether to fight or flee,
But deep inside him can’t face the reality.
In the lightest hour in her darkest day,
She can’t figure out what is wrong with her.
There is something on her mind,
A thing no one can resist.
Is it real or imaginary?
She needs to find that one special thing.
He tries to stop it,
He tries to fight it.
The truth is he’ll always lose,
Unless he makes up his mind.
He realizes what is wrong,
He knows what he must do,
He must find that one special thing.
She goes out the door,
In the midnight sky.
Searching and searching,
Until she finally gives up,
And sits in defeat.
Meanwhile, he is looking as well,
He came too far.
All of a sudden, he sees someone,
Can it be?
It is!
They found each other!
Now they are happy,
Hugging and laughing with passion.
They were destined to be,
Until the very end.
They walk with hands together,
Under the bright white stars.
He is smiling with glee,
She is pleased as can be.
Because they have both found that one special thing.
