the new year comes with dread
and every second leading to that balls descent
and every second leading to that first kiss
my stomach turned
180 degrees
I am still timid
and I am still fearful
and my laziness
reflects in the relationship

Maybe its my overtired cells
but I know not all is unworthy
because there is one thing
that shall not cease to grow
and for you
that is
my heart
