The Darkest Kiss

The moon is my mistress
as curiosity looks to me with interest
I am home to the night stalkers
and father to the shadow walkers
As I arrive I temp the dark fey to come out and play
as they dance and dance the night away
I am friend to seduction and sin
and the light behind the devil’s grin
I resign within the recesses of your mind
and where life and death are intertwined
I look at the world in the palm of my hand
and watch as the pure become the damned
I can be found in everything that tis unknown
and I use the stars as my everlasting throne
I am the substance that makes up your dreams
and am why nothing is ever as it seems
